In pursuit of my masters degree, I am working on a thesis project that involves the use of live action video with animation derived from the frames through a process called "tracing." Adobe Illustrator can create vector images from bitmaps, and I'm using the batch processing feature of Adobe Bridge (with scripting modifications) to do the translation at 30 frames per second. What this clip shows is the original live action footage transitioning to a Live Traced full vector sequence and then a traced portion with some bitmap information. If it's all gobbledygook to you, don't worry. Just appreciate that it looks cool and will help me to achieve the effect I'm seeking for my thesis project.
